About the IndiGo Cadet Pilot Programme
The IndiGo Cadet Pilot Programme is an entry pathway for aspiring pilots who wish to build a career with IndiGo. It is designed for candidates with no prior flying experience. The programme includes Commercial Pilot Licence training and Airbus A320 Type Rating, followed by induction as a Junior First Officer, subject to successful completion of training and assessments.

What Are the Eligibility Criteria for the IndiGo Cadet Pilot Programme?
To apply for the IndiGo Cadet Pilot Programme, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum age: 18 years at the time of application
- Maximum age: 35 years
- 10+2 with at least 51% in Physics, Mathematics, and English individually
- Candidates without Physics or Mathematics may qualify through recognised open schooling with the required marks
- Valid Indian passport
- Indian nationality or OCI status, subject to regulatory clearance
- DGCA Class 2 medical at the time of application
- DGCA Class 1 medical before signing the cadet agreement
- Body Mass Index within acceptable aviation standards
- No visible tattoos while in uniform
